There’s something quietly magical about small things—especially the kind you can tuck into a pocket, slip into a bag, and carry like a secret.

These traveler’s notebooks started the way most of my favorite pieces do: with a mood. A craving for vintage paper, soft florals, and that worn-in feeling like a page has already lived a life before it ever meets your pen. I wanted them to feel like tiny companions—made for everyday moments, but still holding the weight of story.

In this behind-the-scenes video, you’ll see how I build the refills from start to finish: choosing the papers, layering textures, trimming everything down to that perfect small size, and assembling each set by hand. It’s slow work in the best way—measured, intentional, and a little bit meditative. I love that these refills aren’t just “supplies.” They’re the beginning of something.

Because once they’re finished, they’re no longer mine.

They become the place you write down a line you don’t want to forget. A list that turns into a plan. A pressed flower. A receipt from a day that mattered. A sentence that feels like the start of a chapter. Even if you only use them for quick notes, they still collect you—your days, your thoughts, your small brave moments.
